            TL;DR: We do not collect or see your router credentials or network traffic. However, this app uses third-party services (Google AdMob and Google Play Billing) which do collect specific device identifiers to serve ads and process payments.
        

1. Local Network Data (What stays on your device)

The core functionality of Akasha Router is to act as a local management interface for your OpenWrt device.

Router Credentials: Your router IP address, username, and password are saved strictly locally on your physical mobile device. We do not have access to them.
Network Telemetry: Information displayed in the App (MAC addresses, Wi-Fi SSIDs, bandwidth usage, VPN keys) is pulled directly from your local router to your phone. It is never routed through our servers.

2. Third-Party Services & Advertising

To support the development of this free application, we integrate third-party advertising frameworks, specifically Google AdMob.

When you use the App, these third-party services may automatically collect certain information about your device to serve relevant advertisements. This data may include:

Your device's Advertising ID (Android Ad ID or Apple IDFA).
IP Address (used for regional targeting and fraud prevention).
Usage data regarding how you interact with the advertisements.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by navigating to your device's Settings > Privacy > Ads and selecting "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization."

3. In-App Purchases and Billing

The App may offer premium "Pro" features via In-App Purchases. All financial transactions are processed securely by Google Play Billing (or the Apple App Store). We do not collect, process, or store your credit card details, billing name, or address. We only receive an anonymous digital token confirming your purchase status.

4. Required Device Permissions

Network / Wi-Fi State: Required to establish the local JSON-RPC connection to your router.
Internet Permission: Required to fetch third-party advertisements and process billing requests.
Advertising ID: Required by Google AdMob policies to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
