SATS Play is designed with a privacy-first architecture. The software operates entirely on your local area network (LAN). Your media files, viewing history, folder structures, and settings are never transmitted to SATS Dot In, the developer, or any third-party servers.
The SATS Play desktop application does not contain tracking pixels, analytics engines, or telemetry. We do not track what you watch, how often you use the app, or what files exist on your host machine.
If you utilize the built-in "Security & Access" features, your usernames, passwords, and session tokens are encrypted and stored locally in a JSON file on your own computer. We do not have access to this data, nor can we reset your passwords if you lose them.
If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter via our public website, we collect your email address solely for the purpose of sending you updates about SATS Play. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.
